eHealth Exchange President Jay Nakashima Named 2025 Colorado Titan 100 Honoree

Award Honors Top Executives Demonstrating Visionary Leadership and Creating Impact across Colorado’s Business Landscape

eHealth Exchange, the nation’s oldest and largest health information network, announces Jay Nakashima, eHealth Exchange president, is named a 2025 Colorado Titan 100 honoree by Titan CEO and headline sponsor Wipfli LLP. The Titan 100 program recognizes Colorado’s Top 100 CEOs and C-level executives who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and passion in their respective industries.

Under Nakashima’s leadership, eHealth Exchange has doubled its clinical exchange partners, achieved new cybersecurity accreditations, and increased clinical data exchanges—now enabling more than 25 billion data transactions annually. Vendor agnostic, with a broad public health focus, the nonprofit network supports health data exchange for more than 300 million patients and connects participants across all 50 states, including five federal agencies and 75 percent of U.S. hospitals, 58 regional and state health information exchanges (HIEs), 85 percent of dialysis centers, 70,000 medical groups, and payers in 34 states.

“It’s an incredible honor to be named among this group of inspiring leaders,” said Nakashima. “At eHealth Exchange, we’re driven by the belief that secure, seamless data exchange can transform healthcare. This recognition reinforces our commitment to pushing boundaries, advancing public health, and ensuring that critical health information is accessible when and where it’s needed most.”

With more than 25 years of health IT leadership experience across providers, payers, and federal agencies, Nakashima is forging innovative pathways to national health data sharing. He was instrumental in leading eHealth Exchange to become one of the first designated Qualified Health Information Networks® (QHINs™) under the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement™ (TEFCA™).

“Colorado’s Titan 100 are redefining business with vision and purpose, setting new standards for growth, innovation, and impact,” said Jaime Zawmon, president of Titan CEO. “These trailblazing leaders inspire transformation across industries, uplift communities, and drive meaningful change. We proudly celebrate their legacy of excellence and unwavering commitment to shaping a brighter future for all.”

The annual Titan 100 awards celebration is June 5, 2025, at Magness Arena in Denver. The event will gather 100 “Titans of Industry” to celebrate Colorado’s most dynamic leaders.
