This event is co-hosted by Manifest MedEx along with CalHHS’ Center of Data Insights and Innovation, the California Health Care Foundation, and Connecting for Better Health.
The goal of the event is to
- Bring together different perspectives and create an atmosphere for bold, honest conversations on how to advance California’s Data Exchange Framework for equitable, person-centered, and effective health and health care for our state
- Share ideas and best practices from our communities, including front-line leaders and patient representatives; examine health data policies and their impact in our state
- Invite national voices to provide insight into the broader interoperability and health data drivers and opportunities ahead for California
eHealth Exchange executive director, Jay Nakashima will be a panelist in a session called “QHINS, QHIOS, and CIEs, Oh My!” focusing on the possibilities to connect and transform our existing health data infrastructure “acronym soup” to meet local, state, and federal data sharing initiatives and advance health equity. You would bring an important voice to this discussion as a national network and QHIN applicant.
