On December 15, 2022, the Coordinating Committee approved to discontinue the support of HL7 C32 and HL7 C-CDA R1.1 document types beginning on January 1, 2024.
A copy of the document is available at https://ehealthexchange.org/policies/. The changes are to rows 39-48 of the Use Case Specification document and are highlighted in yellow.
According to DURSA Section 10.03, the Performance and Service Specification Change Process, changes to the Performance and Service Specifications may only take effect following a thirty (30) day period where Participants have the opportunity to register any objections to the Performance and Service Specification changes.
Any objections should be emailed to administrator@ehealthexchange.org. To that end, please advise by close of business on 02/21/2023 if you have any concerns regarding these changes being adopted for the eHealth Exchange.
If fewer than 1/3 of eHealth Exchange Participants object, the changes outlined shall go into effect on 2/22/2023. If more than 1/3 of eHealth Exchange Participants object, additional steps must be taken before it can be adopted.
