On November 2, 2023, the QHIN Governance Committee (QGC) approved the six (6) Protocols to support TEFCA Exchange on the Designated Network. Your organization is receiving this notice, since you have opted-in to participate on the eHealth Exchange Designated Network.
Copies of the documents are available at https://ehealthexchange.org/what-we-do/tefca-and-ehealth-exchange/#tefca-resources under TEFCA Obligations. The Protocols are the Governance Protocol, the Change Management Protocol, the TEFCA Security Incident Protocol, the Enforcement Protocol, the Dispute Resolution Protocol, and the Operations and Reporting Protocol.
According to the Change Management Protocol these protocols may only take effect following a thirty (30) day period where Participants have the opportunity to register any objections to the Protocols.
Any objections should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. To that end, please advise by close of business on 12/4/2023 if you have any concerns regarding these changes being adopted for the eHealth Exchange.
Per the Change Management Protocol, if fewer than 1/3 of the eHealth Exchange QHIN Participants object, the Protocols outlined shall go into effect on 12/5/2023. If more than 1/3 of eHealth Exchange QHIN Participants object, additional steps must be taken before it can be adopted.
