Description of changes:
The eHealth Exchange Hub PRODUCTION environment firewall migration was completed successfully. Post migration testing and monitoring has been performed, and all services are functioning normally.
Scope:
The firewall migration was performed in the eHealth Exchange Hub PRODUCTION environment. Lower environments were migrated successfully within the past 6 weeks.
Impact:
There was a service interruption in the PRODUCTION environment of approximately 17 minutes during the maintenance event (10:48am thru 11:05am ET), which was considerably less than originally expected.
Support:
eHealth Exchange and Hub operational staff will continue to monitor the Hub Live environment to ensure that there are no unexpected negative impacts. If you have any questions or issues, please contact the Hub Service Desk at servicedesk@hub.ehealthexchange.org or 833-793-0188.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND REMINDERS:
The eHealth Exchange Hub team has implemented a recurring weekly scheduled maintenance window each Thursday evening at 5:00pm ET for all non-urgent events. The duration of each maintenance event will be determined by the respective changes for each event, and details will be communicated out to all Participants at least 48 hours prior to the event. If there are no changes for any given week, then the maintenance event will not occur, and no notice will be sent. Also please note that Operating System and similar updates that do not require a service outage, and do not require changes to the application layer, will be performed during this scheduled maintenance window without specific notice due to their frequent and routine nature.
